Abstract
On "The Lurking Fear" (with mention of George Julian Houtain), recommendations for Smith's illustrations of the story, a quote from John Brown's "An Essay on Satire, Occasioned by the Death of Mr. Pope"; enclosing "The Hound", and Alfred Galpin is to lend out "Hypnos" (which he and Samuel Loveman enjoyed); sorry to hear of Smith's poor health, and praise for the extracts from Ebony and Crystal ("Inferno," "Triple Aspect," "In Saturn").
