Abstract
A memoir of H. P. Lovecraft by his former wife Sonia Haft Greene (later Sonia H. Davis). The original memoir was abridged and rewritten by Winfield Townley Scott, and titled "Howard Phillips Lovecraft as His Wife Remembers Him" when first published in The Providence Sunday Journal 22 Aug 1948, then further edited by August Derleth and retitled Lovecraft As I knew Him in Something About Cats (1949). The full, unabridged memoir was published as The Private Life of H. P. Lovecraft (1985).
