An Epicure in the Terrible (1991) |
Abstract
As a contrast to the image of Lovecraft as an amateur writer, Murray analyzes Lovecraft as a writer who pursued professional fiction markets, and whose self-confidence suffered when he faced rejection by the pulps. As well, Murray examines Lovecraft's relationship with the pulp magazines.
